Have you suffered a loss in your life that you have been trying to overcome?
First Baptist Church of Silver Spring offers an eight-week support group workshop for adults who are facing or who have faced significant losses in their life. These losses can include the loss of a loved one through death, the end or breakup of marriages or other relationships, the loss of a job, the movement to another geographical area, the loss of youth or good health, or many other similar losses.
If you or someone you know has experienced such a loss, call First Baptist Church at 301-585-5454 for further information on scheduling and content of the support group workshops. First Baptist is located at the corner of Fenton Street and Wayne Avenue in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, north of the District of Columbia.
The adult support group is led by trained facilitators and meets once a week for eight weeks. If sufficient interest is expressed by the community, support groups can meet after work, in the evenings, or on weekends.
The only cost is a $12.00 fee for the workbook that we use.
